I decided to upload some polaroids I didn't consider as "nice shots" but I think that maybe interesting for people who dream to come to see my country as well as I would love to see their ones. Hope someone of you may have the same fun I had lookin' to your pictures coming all around our beatyfull world!!

Thing is that I think that Polaroid collapse might actually result in such a situation..... Fuji has wanted to be involved in integral film for time (I know digital has happened) but if they can get past the Instax problem then they would be natural to take over integral......

If Ilford can make it work then they too are the natural aspirants to high quality film..... they do not always succeed but that is what they aim for............

Let us hope that dreams do come true

ok.. ..fuji will make a 600 type film, in addition to their instax -series.
ilford will jump in, and produce large format sheet films..as an addition to their b&W portfolio. ..and everybody would be happy.
(he..and i imagine that the 4x5 sheet-film-boxe in ilford-design will look cool.)

hmm loosetoth..i have nothing to add to this confession..i did´nt buy any full-price polaroids, until last week.
and i jstill stubbornly hope that ilford will jump in and produce 4x5 single sheet films.. ( would fit nicely in their product-portfolio)

You have all my respect Arme but I think its a sectarist and very didactic way of seeing the situation.
There is no "ignore" button like in you in exclusivist dream because if someone add you, you are still free to do not add him and ignore him or her if it please you...just don't browse their profile if you don't want to know that somes peoples are curious about your work.

Arme Just look at the interface closely...It's INCLUSIF ! and Allow innocent curiosity toward members.

Which me I respect.

Joy of joys..... today is a great day.....

I have longed dreamed of converting a 110b to a 4x5 a'la Razzldog (no-one mention that crank Shittman).... I have been collecting 110b's and 110a's, 120's and 900's for a while now..... and today I spoke with the engineer who will machine the backs and fit the lenses (as well as check and correct the parallax problem).... and he agreed!!!!! I am in charge of procurement and finishing and the less complex areas of conversion and construction............

Next step is to buy in the lens... I am thinking a Schneider Apo-Symmar 150mm........

Mmm I am not sure what all this.... 'I will delete this soon'..... business is. Both VF and CDR have mentioned it.

I personally have complained against long posters (and made my peace with them) but I do not agree with deleting something if you thought it was worth putting up in the first place.

I was dreaming again, whilst shaving, of the Polanoid forum.... an expanded version of the newsfeed where anything goes..... I added to the forum (todays idea) the manuals section where people could upload scans of original manuals thus putting out of business the scammers who charge £15 a time......

The democratisation of thought and knowledge, it is what Wiki is about and what we should be about..... and if Wiki is mistaken in some things then we should not discount it but work all the harder to improve it.... if only Polaroid could see things thus and Polanoid too

Apart from the beautiful dream where Fuji buys the plants and license to produce 600 film, indeed there are two possibilities :
-either Fuji gets all the polaroid consumers and it becomes an enough profitable market and they carry on
- either they think that everyone believes instant photography is dead and they stop production too before they loose too much money as Polaroid did


Let's buy some Fuji right now !
